Deliverables

- 1 x 75 minute feature film for BT Sport

Outline

TBI Media teamed up with BT Sport as former Ireland and Lions Rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll discovers how Irish Rugby has managed to remain a ‘united’ sport despite Partition, The Troubles, Religious divides and the weight of history.

Brian travelled across the island of Ireland to speak to players and fans from both sides of the border to gain a better understanding from both Loyalist and Republican perspectives.

As well as attending an Orange Parade on the 12th July, Brian mets former players Nigel Carr and Davy Irwin who were caught in the aftermath of an IRA bomb that killed a British Judge and his wife. Plus he interviewed former players Donal Lenihan, Tommy Bowe, Willie John McBride, to name but a few.
