Broadcast on BBC Radio 1 as the sun is rising on Saturday mornings, The Wind Down explores the deeper side of dance music. Led by our roster of expert artist-curators, The Wind Down is the mix series where our guest hosts share their most personal and reflective playlists - it’s the music Romy XX plays to her bandmates after a gig, Jessie Ware’s after-dinner tunes, and the soundtrack to Bonobo’s late-night train journeys on tour. TBI launched The Wind Down in 2018, and produced it until June 2019.
