    On the 12th June, TBI united with Classic FM at the Theatre Royal to celebrate her Majesty’s 90th Birthday. The evening featured exceptional performances from some of the country’s finest classical musicians. The concert was recorded for broadcast on Sky Arts the following day.

  • The Battle of Britain at 75

    On Friday 18th September 2015 Jeremy Vine, Dermot O’Leary & Sophie Raworth shared the incredible story of  “The Battle of Britain” live from the Biggin Hill airfield.

  • Catfish: Unbottled

    TBI Media joined indie stars Catfish and The Bottlemen for their biggest performance. In the space of 12 months the band went from the BBC introducing tent at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow, to a wild crowd at the main stage of Glastonbury. In this iPlayer film we looked at their remarkable rise and reflect on the most incredible year of their lives.

  • Faith No More Radio 1 Session

    We filmed Rock legends ‘Faith No More’ at Maida Vale for Daniel P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show. As well performing three tracks from their album ‘Sol Invictus’ they also performed a Burt Bacharach cover. The session also included both Mike Patton and Roddy Bottum talking through the tracks.

  • One Day In May: The Story of the Bradford City Fire

    On 11th May 1985, at an end of season Third Division football match between Bradford City and Lincoln City, a fire took hold which got so quickly out of control that it consumed the two hundred foot long main stand at Bradford City in less than four minutes. Fifty six people died and many more were injured.

    Recorded in the legendary Maida Vale studios for BBC Radio 1 & the BBC iPlayer, Australian singer songwriter Courtney Barnett performed four tracks from her new album and spoke to Annie Mac.

    On 5th July 1954, a 19-year-old Elvis Presley walked into Sun Studio and recorded three tracks.

     

    To markthe anniversary of Elvis’s historic recording, Hollywood actor and musician Sam Palladio hosted That’s All Right: 60 Years On live from Sun Studio in Memphis.
