Saxophonist and club owner Ronnie Scott created an iconic jazz institution –arguably the world’s most famous jazz club today – that in turn ushered in a world-class British jazz scene.

This 2 part documentary features interviews with top US jazz stars Sonny Rollins, Diana Krall, Monty Alexander plus leading UK musicians Courtney Pine, Guy Barker and Claire Martin, jazz DJ Gilles Peterson, and music writer Jack Massarik, among others, all recalling their enduring memories of Ronnie’s unique humour and musicianship and their many life changing musical experiences at this iconic venue.

Won Gold at the 2010 New York Radio Festival in the ‘Culture and Arts’ category.
