‘Faith and 9/11’ has been honoured at the 2012 Sandford St Martin Radio and Television Awards at Lambeth Palace, coming Runner Up in the Radio category. Broadcast last September on BBC Radio 2, ‘Faith and 9/11’ was produced by Rosemary Foxcroft shortly before she very sadly lost her fight with cancer. Rosemary was a fantastic producer and a lovely person and it was fitting that the last programme she made was honoured in this way. We were very pleased that her daughter Hannah was able to join us at the ceremony to collect the certificate. We also received a nomination for Adrian Plass’s ‘Pause for Thought‘, produced by Hannah Scott-Joynt for BBC Radio 2. Adrian’s poem about dementia was described as ‘creative and moving’ by the judges.
