February 2013 saw the 50th anniversary of the epic recording of the Beatles LP Please Please Me. TBI Media worked with iconic artist to emulate this fantastic event.

TBI paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ famous 12-hour recording session at Abbey Road Studios, which resulted in the iconic LP Please Please Me.
Artists such as The Stereophonics, Graham Coxon, Gabrielle Aplin, Beverley Knight, Joss Stone, Ian Broudie, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze take a song each and attempt the same feat 50 years to the date. These contemporary artists from across the musical spectrum pay homage to the infamous 12 hour recording session b recreating the famous session in the same time frame in the same Abbey Road Studio 2.
Each artist rehearsed and then performed live throughout the day on BBC Radio 2, with all the action captured for broadcast in BBC Four’s The Beatles’ Please Please Me – Re-making A Classic.
