- 1 x radio conference at the Houses of Parliament

TBI Media worked alongside Absolute Radio to produce a hugely sucessful event for media and advertising agencies in conjuction with the Minister for Culture, Ed Vaizy.

Hosted at the Houses of Parliament in London, speakers included Ed Vaizey – Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries, Karla Geci – Strategic Partner Development – Facebook, Tim Davie – Director of BBC Audio & Music & Founding Director at UK Radioplayer Ltd, Clive Dickens – COO Absolute Radio & Non-Exec Director at UK Radioplayer Ltd, Comedian, Writer and Broadcaster Dave Gorman and Rohan Oommen – General Manager of the Xbox LIVE business in EMEA.

Topics under scrutiny included the future of radio in a digital world, specifically instream advertising, the importance of ‘logged in listening’, radio within social media, partnerships, and the thought that there is a huge potential in the radio industry in 2012 and beyond, as long as radio pushes towards ‘creative renewal’.
