TBI Media teamed up with Absolute Radio to produce and broadcast a two part special celebration for the 40th Anniversary of Queen.

Illustrated by an incredible soundtrack, Killer Queen explores how Queen created some of the biggest hits ever written; the inspirations behind the songs, the creative dynamics between four strong-willed musicians and the human stories at the heart of their music.

The two part feature was built around exclusive interviews with both Brian May and Roger Taylor as well as rare archive interviews from Freddie Mercury. It also featured exclusive insight into the bands’ recording process from producer and close friend Reinhold Mack. Killer Queen also features contributions from artists influenced by Queen, notably; Tom Chaplin of Keane, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, comedian and musician Tim Minchin and comedian, actor and Queen impresario Rhys Thomas.
