Taking its name from the Elbow classic (a lyrically poignant track), One Year Like This plays special homage to the music that we’ve leant on and people who have pulled us through a tough year.
A specially curated playlist and exclusive remote performances from new and big artists weaves throughout the programme, plus we’ll hear from real lockdown heroes - NHS workers who lead their teams into battle each day, the charity that gets laptops to those in need and the man who made it his personal mission to ensure that local children didn’t go without a Christmas present.
Lockdown may have kept us apart – but this programme tells the story of how we came together to get through the toughest year yet.
