MC's, rappers and poets use music and rhyme to reflect the rioting of August 2011
- 1 x 60 minute BBC Radio 1Xtra Stories documentary
TBI Media worked with BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter Twin B to look at the communities across the UK recovering from the destruction of the 2011 riots.
Starting in Tottenham, Twin B talks to Londoners that suffered as well as those who rioted. Personal stories are mixed with news archive over a pounding soundtrack which features likes of Lady Leshurr, C4, Zed Bias and other young people who used rhyme to help them vent their feelings on the unrest.
The programme shed light on the music and written poems created from uncertainty across the UK.
